INTRO

I am a 25 year old sociology student from Germany, a passionate traveler and a biking environmentalist.

The intense experiences during the cuba trip and the paralyzing cultural shock that hit me when I returned to my home country motivated me to publish this travel account ex post. During the next weeks I will retrace my journey with fotos, observations and thoughts.

Facts on the trip: 4 weeks. September 7 – October 6. From La Habana to Santiago de Cuba. 1100 kilometers by bike. Together with my companion Michael.

Ich bin eine 25 jährige Soziologiestudentin aus Deutschland. Ich reise leidenschaftlich gern und bin im Alltag und auf Reisen am liebsten mit dem Rad unterwegs.

Die intensiven Erfahrungen meiner Kubareise und der lähmende Kulturschock danach motivierten mich ex post diesen Reisebericht zu veröffentlichen. In den nächsten Wochen werde ich hier meine Reise nachvollziehen, mit Fotos, Beobachtungen und Gedanken.
